This Courreges is just amazing in person. It is entirely made of a light silk chiffon and lined in a tissue silk and it weighs mere ounces. It is actually astonishing how little it weighs. It is a simple cut - strapless and fitted with tiny little rows of gathers running across its surface to create the pattern and texture you see. When you look close you realize that those little double rows that sit above and below each gathered row are actually a line of tightly spaced "circles" created by meticulously gathering the fabric and sewing them into that design. The hours to create this that must have taken is mind boggling! Down each side runs a band of silk ribbon and a ruffle of silk defines the top of the bodice and hem. The waist is seamed so gives it some shape and the cut is otherwise simple and straight. You can wear this as shown or add a belt for more definition. Excellent condition

Fully lined in a black tissue silk and closes with a back painted metal zipper with an inner waist stay that closes with a large, flat hook and eye. Boned through the bodice. Marked a Courreges "B" but please check actual listed measurements.
