1950’s skirt with an absolutely gorgeous border print and vibrant flowers in yellow and orange on a black background. The border print looks like lace and the large scale are kind of tropical which is a lovely contrast. This skirt is made from a cool textured cotton fabric. The construction and design is similar to Mexican skirts from this time period. The back panel has straps that button in front and the straps at the waist of the back panel tie in back. This creates pockets on either side. Just a perfect example of cool girl fashion of the 50s.

No tag and possibly handmade. Freshly soaked and pressed, excellent condition with no flaws to report. 

Size is the only reason this is priced gently. It’s a modern XS or 0/2. You could add a little to the straps that go in front but not too much or you’d have to add to the sides. The measurements are as follows:

Waist - 24”
Length - 31.5”
