This hand-knotted wool vintage Persian style rug features a traditional Tabriz design in a rectilinear style. A lozenge style light pink central medallion floats in a two-color cut-out field of dark hunter green and sky blue. Geometric palmettes, rectilinear vines and feather-like serrated leaves grace the hunter green background. Light Pink and cream corner spandrels are placed in each corner. It is surrounded in a classic cream border composed of palmettes and stylized feathers and serrated leaves, flanked by light pink guard bands of leaves and rosettes. Rendered in variegated shades of sky blue, light pink, cream, hunter green, tan and taupe. Hand-knotted wool. Made in China. Measures: 05'09 x 08'09.
