This is a semi-sheer rayon-chiffon 1920s blouse with a fabulous art deco print in red and blue. It has a beautiful pointed 2-piece collar and long sleeves. The sleeves have a detail at the wrists like a miniature kimono drape. It crosses over the front to close with snap fasteners and a centre-front placket. A separate panel forms the waist and is much narrower than the rest of the body, creating a little balloon effect. All hems are bouned with ribbed ribbon, which also forms the three bow details on the front left side.

Bust: 41 in. (104 cm)
Waist: 31 in. (79 cm)
Shoulder to Shoulder: 14.5  in. (37 cm)
Sleeve Length: 21 in. (53.5 cm)
Length from nape of neck: 21 in. (53.25 cm)

CONDITION: AS-IS. This garment is unfortunately no longer suitable for wear as it has disintegrated in the 100-year interval since it was made. There are multiple areas where the fabric has shattered. There is also discolouration/fading at the armpit. However, because of the beauty of the print, it is a wonderful collector's piece. Alternatively, it could be studied for its pattern and construction.
