A bit of teens or 1920s glory here! It's a women's or girls hand beaded floral belt, in great antique condition with art deco colourful glass beads sewn onto leather. Beading:
Black beads are missing in several places, but none hanging loose, and they are barely noticeable as background beading.
The clear beads also have a small few missing.
There is one 1/4 in. section of green beading that is loose.
The central section of four florets in brilliant fuchsia, blue and yellow are all completely intact, and very finely worked.
Glue visible in some areas.
Leather:
Definitely aged overall, with areas of discolouration and general wear.
There's a slight discoloration near the ends (likely natural oil from handling), but this does not show from the front.
On the reverse side of the middle section, there is a 1cm area of damage.
Snaps:
Original snaps all present and accounted for!
